Yes — we offer six settling sessions, so your child can build confidence and familiarity gradually, rather than being rushed into a full day. It helps them feel safe, happy, and ready for nursery life at their own pace.
We start with a fact-finding conversation with yoursleves to learn about your child’s routines, likes, dislikes, and personality, so we can work together to settle them in quickly, safely, and with confidence.
We always put your child’s wellbeing first. If they become upset or unwell, our trained team will comfort and care for them immediately, and we will update you as soon as we can. If it’s urgent, we will contact you straight away.
Every day at pick-up, we’ll give you a full update on your child’s day. We also keep you fully involved through our parent app, where you can view their development and key observations, plus we hold parent evenings each term, send yearly reports, and complete a two-way strengths-and-gaps review. We also offer home-learning activities to support your child at home, and you’re always welcome to call us anytime for peace of mind.
Yes. Our skilled on-site cook will happily cater for allergies, intolerances, and cultural or religious dietary needs. We work closely with families to ensure every child’s meals are safe, nutritious, and enjoyable. You can find out more on our "Freshly Prepared Meals" page.
We can help you use government funding (including 15 or 30 hours, if you qualify). We also accept Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers, and would be more than happy to explain the best options for your family. View our "Fees and Funding" page to find out more.
Your child will be assigned a key worker (a dedicated member of staff who is assigned to your child to provide consistent care and support), but we work as a team, so everyone in the room will be familiar with your child’s routine and needs. You can visit our "Meet our team" page to find out more.
We treat every child as unique, tailoring care and learning to their interests and development. For example, if a child has SEN (Special Educational Needs), we work closely with the family to create a personalised support plan and involve specialist support where needed. If a child is shy, we gently build their confidence through small group activities and consistent reassurance, helping them feel safe and included.
Our garden is truly exceptional — a world-class outdoor learning space designed for adventure and discovery. It includes a sheltered baby sanctuary, sand pit, bike track, mud kitchen, music wall, climbing frame, slide, tunnel, wall walk, and even our own fruit-growing area. The best way to appreciate it is to see it in person, so we’d love to welcome you for a visit. Find out more on our "safe outdoor play" page.
Yes — we have a dedicated sensory room designed to be calm, cosy, and engaging, where children can explore textures, sounds and light safely. It’s a wonderful space for relaxation, emotional regulation, and sensory development, especially for children who benefit from a quieter, more focused environment.
Yes — our virtual tour is a great way to explore the nursery from the comfort of your home until you’re ready to visit in person. You’ll be able to see all our rooms, including our world-class garden and sensory room, so you can feel confident and reassured before you come to meet us.
Please call us on 01296489876 or complete our quick “Book a Visit” enquiry form. We’ll talk through availability, answer your questions, and arrange a visit if you’d like to see us in action.
We are a family-run nursery where decisions are made with children and families in mind — not by corporate targets. You can learn more on our “What Makes Us Different” page.
