Parent Reviews

We recognise that parents are the first educators of their children and should be essentially involved with their child's development. We aim to support parents and carers by informing them of the nursery school policies and giving opportunities for them to contribute their skills and interests to the nursery. Parents/carers will be informed on a formal and informal basis of their child's progress.

Each child has a 'Learning Journal' which will be a record of your child's interests, significant achievements and developments throughout their nursery life. Parental contribution is welcomed and we encourage you to access your own child's journals at any time.

A two flow communication approach enables an effective way of sharing best practice between staff and parents. Staff are available daily for any queries or feedback regarding your child and confidentiality is respected at all times.

Thank you all for looking after our little man Cieran. He enjoyed every day of his stay in his "NEW" nursery (that's what he always tells us). He's hoping to see you all again next year (his brother's turn).

To all the wonderful teachers. We would like to thank each and every one of you for everything you have done for our daughter Keeley. Keeley enjoyed coming to nursery and always talked about her day. There was never a time she didn't want to go nursery. We made the right choice in placing our daughter at your nursery.

To all the wonderful staff. Paige and myself would like to say a big thank you for everything you have done for Paige during her time at nursery. She is very sad to be leaving such wonderful teachers. You have done a fantastic job with Paige and getting her ready for big school

We moved to the UK from South Africa in March 2010 and were desperate to find a nursery that would help my daughter settle in to the UK way of life plus make her feel welcome and at home, especially with different cultures etc. We looked at several nurseries in the area and KKDC out-shone the others by far. I came to visit KKDC with my daughter and from the moment we walked in they made her feel so special. While I was given the tour of KKDC, they allowed my daughter to interact with all the other children/teachers. This is an awesome nursery. The premises are safe and clean and there is a wide variety of toys for the children to play with. The staff are very helpful and approachable to both parent and child. The teacher's interaction with my daughter has played a huge role in her day to day educational growth. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

KKDC Nursery School has been a fantastic place for my son Phoenix to spend much of his early years, from a six-month-old-baby up to starting infant school. Phoenix has blossomed into a confident and sociable little boy much due to the praise, support, care, attention and love that the wonderful KKDC team of staff has showed him. As a mother and teacher, I have always been incredibly impressed by the wide range of activities KKDC offers the children, from simple collage activities to role-play, celebrating cultural festivals to food tasting. Staff have been incredibly attentive to Phoenix's speech, listening and writing development. I wholeheartedly recommend this Nursery School to parents considering their childcare options.
