When your child moves up to the toddler room, he or she will be greeted by new friends and be opened to a whole new world of learning. They will be able to explore the wet area and participate in a variety of creative activities including wood work, clay, collage, jelly and pasta play. Equipment is stored in low cupboards and shelves to encourage children to select their own resources independently.
Learning Higher...
Our book corner and snacks bar is a huge hit with this group and children are encouraged to take part in these aged-related activities. Toddlers are also inspired to paint, draw and engage in a wide range of creative play. Quieter times will invlove looking at books and completing jigsaws.
Independent Development...
This area promotes independent learning, social skills and personal development. Physical development is also encouraged at this stage using both secured indoor and outdoor areas.
